Get ready to discover the magic of Ireland—right here in Dublin, Ohio! The 38th Dublin Irish Festival, the world’s largest 3-day Irish celebration, returns to Coffman Park Aug. 1-3. It brings an incredible mix of entertainment and activities, including dance and music performances, Celtic canines, athletic demonstrations, Irish history and literary presentations, genealogy, shopping and plenty of Irish food.
Families will find no shortage of fun and safety. The Wee Folk area presented by Wendy's offers crafts, contests, performances and dance instruction. Aspiring young athletes can participate in the Kids Highland Games. The Pot O’ Gold Playland features more than 20 inflatables. The Festival offers a calming, sensory-friendly “Take-A-Break” space, which includes sensory activities and equipment. Families can also find nursing, baby changing, first aid and water refill stations.
For first-time guests and seasoned Festival goers alike, here are 5 ways to get your family Festival-ready:
- Save a Little Green: Purchase tickets online—even from the line of the Festival entrance—for the best price. Or, sign up in the 5K and Kids Dash presented by IGS Energy on July 31 in Historic Dublin and receive a complimentary one-day Festival ticket. Kids 11 and under receive free admission!
- Stress Less About Transportation: Bike, scooter, drive or shuttle – the Festival has free and convenient parking options for everyone. Also get $10 off a ride to and from the Festival using Lyft code DUBLINIRISH25.
- Plan Like a Pro: Download the award-winning Dublin Irish Festival mobile app to access real-time schedules, artist lineups, interactive maps, FAQ and alerts. It’s your go-to tool for navigating the fun with ease.
- Keep Safety Top of Mind: Stop by one of the four Identi-Kid/Dublin Police Safe Space locations at the entrances to get a free wristband for your child, including their name, age, and your phone number. That way you can quickly reconnect with your child if you get separated.
